GBP Creative is a northern based commercial production company, working with organizations and businesses that build our communities and help them thrive.
We are proud to work with organizations across the country to create media that helps showcase the work our clients do, and the impacts and legacies they build. From independent entrepreneurs, to industrial companies, and large scale campaigns, we create imagery and films that leave an impact and inspire action.
Gary Bremner
Photographer/Director/Cinematographer
Originally from interior BC, and then after a decade in Vancouver, Gary found his home here in the North. Whether he’s Directing a commercial, or working with elders on their Traditional territory, Gary is known for his knack for putting people at ease and capturing them authentically doing what they do best. With his attention to detail, and meticulous process, Gary ensures every client walks away with high quality results they can be proud of. As a former Journeyman Electrician, and Communication Tower Lead Hand he has years of experience in safety standards, PPE and worksite management.
Gary loves being able to see ‘behind the scenes’ of the various industries and organizations we work with, to then be able to communicate the skill, dedication and experiences of the people who build and support our communities.
Brianne Bremner
Producer/Creative Director
Brianne is Cree/German, and has lived in the North the majority of her life, aside from her time away for education and travel. With a background in health behaviour change and social marketing, Brianne brings years of campaign and community engagement experience as well as the skills to manage changing schedules, tight timelines and all of the moving parts involved in large project coordination. A successful project depends on organization, attention to detail, and the right team, and Brianne will ensure everything is in place to create success. She also takes a lot of pride in ensuring that all of GBP’s projects are done in a good way. Bringing to the foreground the importance of relationship building, empathy and awareness, she thrives on work that helps lift up communities.
Giving Back.
We are so grateful to be able to do the work we do, and know that it is because of our amazing community that surrounds us that we have been able to take on this adventure. We are forever grateful that we are able to live and work here on the Traditional Territories of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation and Ta'an Kwäch'än Council.
From day one, it has always been foundational to our values that we give back to our community and to causes that we believe in. We have a platform, and a skill set and feel that it’s vital that we use it to help build up our communities and support people doing good things in this world. We encourage you to check out some of these organizations if you don’t already know the work they do, and if you have an organization or cause that you feel we could support or partner with, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
“Whitehorse Connects is an opportunity for those who are experiencing homelessness, living in poverty or among the working poor to come together on a given day for a range of health and human services they may not otherwise access.” We have been donating our services to offer portraiture at this event for over a decade and have had the honour of seeing families grow, family members reconnect, and have captured memories of community members who have later passed on. It is something we do 3 times a year, and are truly grateful for all the people we have met through this incredible program.
“Little Footprints Big Steps (LFBS) is a non-profit organization that works to protect vulnerable children in Haiti by reuniting families and empowering them with resources and opportunities to build a self-sufficient future.” In 2018, Gary travelled to Haiti with Shot in the Dark Productions to work on a documentary that they were making on the co-founder of LFBS. After meeting the staff and seeing first hand the incredible work they are doing with family reunification in Haiti, we have continued to work with them and support their organization ever since.
Whitehorse Firefighters Charitable Society
We’ve partnered with WFCS on multiple fundraising calendars featuring crews with local shelter animals to raise funds for the Yukon Humane Society. We also participate in sponsoring families every Christmas in their “Share the Spirit” campaign which helps provide families with both gifts and meals over the holidays.
